Based on customer feedback, the manufacturer has identified that the lid-locking mechanism of certain ROTOFIX 32 A centrifuges may occasionally fail to engage correctly, resulting in the lid not being securely locked. The lid does not open on its
own. For the lid to open, the user must actively operate the lid handle and attempt to open the lid while the centrifuge is running. In this case, the lid may open while the rotor is still spinning.
