Siemens Healthineers has confirmed through internal investigation that IMMULITE 2000 Syphilis Screen Lot 387 has a negative patient bias compared to other lots. While the IMMULITE 2000 Syphilis Screen is a qualitative assay, signal/cutoff (S/CO) ratios are calculated to report patient results as Reactive (S/CO ratio of≥ 1.1), Nonreactive (S/CO ratio of <0.9) or Indeterminate (S/CO ratio of ≥0.9 to <1.1). Indeterminate results should be retested.
